Week 34 Weekend HW (Due Monday, May 2):

Write a new haiku poem and create a poster with it (using PicCollage or any other program of your choice).
Remember the three rules of haiku:

1) 5-7-5 syllable rule

2) seasonal reference

3) use punctuation in the second line ( ? ! ; )

In your notebook or on a separate A4 sheet, write 4 possible Outsiders quiz questions with full  answers.

Two questions should be Wh- questions (who-what-when-where-why).
Two questıons should start with Find/Identify/Explain/Describe or a Quote + Wh- question.

Read chapter 6 of The Outsiders and complete the vocabulary on page 4 of the workbook.

Week 23 Mid-Week HW (04.03.2014):

Finish reading Chapter 4 of The Outsiders and answer the Reading Comprehension questions on page 17.

1. Answer the Comprehension Questions (not the ‘In Their Words’ section) on page 14 of the Outsiders workbook.

      Dear Ida,

      We have sent an email to the students personally with a list of instructions and links that will help the students with their summer homework. However, I would be happy to post this information on the blog as well.
